Chris Estilow - Showcase Teams Director - Coach / Hitting & Catching Instructor

The Lake Norman Copperheads are pleased to announce the addition of Chris Estilow to their staff.  Chris brings a wealth of knowledge to the organization.  In 2000, Estilow was a catcher and third basemen for the NJCAA Division III World Series Champions, Gloucester County College.  In the following year, he signed as a free agent with the Florida Marlins organization where he spent two years as a catcher.  After hanging up the spikes, he returned to Gloucester County College to spend two years as an assistant coach.  He followed that stint by spending six years as a head coach at the high school ranks.  He most recently returned to North Carolina and took over as the head coach at Wilkes Community College. Throughout his career, he has always worked with youth players to help them maximize their potential and coached many youth/showcase teams.

The Copperheads are excited to announce that Zach Rosenbaum will be returning to the field in 2014/2015. He will be the head coach of 13U Copperheads - Rosenbaum  and be available for instruction for all of our teams. Things have come full circle for Rosenbaum as he was once a member of the Copperheads youth program. Moving on from there, he had a stellar career at North Meck High School and UNC Charlotte. In 2008, the New York Mets selected him in the 18th round. Since leaving the professional ranks, Rosenbaum has solidified himself as one of the top instructors in the area. General Manager Derek Shoe, "We are very lucky to have someone of Zach's caliber in our program. Not only is he very good at what he does, he is also deeply rooted in the community which is important to us." "Having guys like Zach on our staff is a huge benefit to every player that steps foot into our organization, so we couldn't have been more excited to learn that he wanted to be a part of what we are building here," he added. Welcome (back) to the Copperheads Zach!
